About the event

Medicine Making in the Woods: Herbal Medicine Walk and Talk
Join us at the beautiful woodland setting of Thornham walks, where we will take part in a herb walk, craft herbal remedies, and sample medicinal teas, treats and snacks.
Lead by Sarah Farrow BSc (Hons) Medical Herbalist, take part in a guided herb walk, and learn about identification techniques and foraging tips. Craft your own herbal medicines. We will be making allergy balms which are useful for bites and stings ahead of the summer season.
Sample herbal snacks and herbal remedies under the woodland canopy and discuss the benefits of the plants that surround us.
Take part in a herbal tea tasting, taking note of the body's innate ability to sense medicinal qualities of plants. There will be time to discuss these themes and how we can apply this knowledge!
