Medicine Making in the Woods
Herbal Medicine Walk and Talk
Join us at the beautiful woodland setting of Thornham walks, where we will take part in a herb walk, craft herbal remedies (spring tonics and remedies for allergy season), and sample medicinal teas, treats and snacks.
Lead by Sarah Farrow BSc Hons Medical Herbalist, take part in a guided herb walk, and learn about identification techniques and foraging tips. We will be focussing on Spring herbs which are helpful for lifting the stagnation that comes with winter and aiding hay-fever allergies.
Craft your own spring tonic, a herbal oxymel that supports the liver, lymphatic and digestive systems. We will be making allergy balms which are useful for bites and stings ahead of the summer season.
Sample some herbal snacks and herbal remedies under the woodland canopy and discuss the benefits of the plants that surround us.
